FAFSA

ATTENTION 2018 seniors ... and anyone else who is planning to submit a 2018-2019 FAFSA

Why FAFSA?

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is required by most colleges and universities to determine your financial aid eligibility and award package. You must renew the FAFSA every year. For the 2018 senior class, you will need to complete the 2018-19 FAFSA. You are responsible to know what the priority date is for the college/university that you are applying to.

The FAFSA will now open every year on October 1st! Go to fafsa.gov to start the FAFSA process. You and a parent can start the FAFSA process by creating a Federal Student Aid ID -- which is used to electronically sign the FAFSA.

Tip: The FAFSA can take several days to process. It is important that you submit the FAFSA with enough time to process before the college/university's priority deadline. Attend a FAFSA completion workshop.

Start the FAFSA process by getting your FSA ID
